1. Multi-tracking and drum beats
Multi-tracking is used when recording music to layer different sounds (e.g instruments) and adjust the volume and effects of each track. The video below shows how to use the Beepbox website to build tracks of different sounds and use effects.
2. Use various online samplers and sequences to create drums patterns and scales.
This video demonstrate how to use the Muted IO Drum Machine to create drum rhythm using a 16 step sampler. Once you have finished then scroll down and click ‘Download Midi’ to save your drum beat to your computer in the Downloads folder.
This video demonstrate how to use the Muted IO Sequencer to create scales (a sequence of musical notes in a key signature). This video demonstrates how to create the scale of C but you can also use this website to help you create other scales, such as G and D major. Once you have finished then scroll down and click ‘Download Midi’ to save your drum beat to your computer in the Downloads folder.
