Castles and Knights
See below how some of our Activity Packs can be used/adapted for Castles and Knights topics.
Castles and Knights Ebooks
Younger pupils could create ebooks about castles and knights and use the built-in image search demonstrated in the Key Stage 1 Ebook Creation Activity Pack to find images from words connected with the topic such as armour turret, drawbridge, dungeon, lance etc.
Once pupils have mastered the 3D design skills in the 3D Design Activity Pack, they could then create a castle using the cone shapes for the conical roof of the turrets.
For schools who have Minecraft licenses, pupils could use the skills covered in the Minecraft Activity Pack to build a castle (example below).
For younger pupils, the Game Creation Activity Pack could be adapted by using a knight a character and castle walls for the character to have to jump over. For older pupils using Scratch, the Scratch Space Invaders Activity Pack could be adapted by having a knight sprite avoiding arrows/spears sprites.
