Poetry Use the Ebook Creation Pack to create illustrated audio poetry. The Document Creation Activity Pack has a poetry imagery element. |
Persuasive Writing Use the Game Creation Pack to build a game then App Store listing template with persuasive writing in the description. |

Sentences Pupils can use the Scratch Sentences activity to write a program to randomly generate a sentence using nouns, adjectives etc. For younger pupils, they can build sentences using word banks highlighted in the Key Stage 1 Text and Images pack. |
Interactive Stories The Ebook Creation Pack demonstrates to pupils how to make hyperlinks to other pages. The could be used to make interactive story ebooks where the reader makes decisions on the plot. |
Drama The iMovie Activity Pack Creation Pack and Green Screen Activity packs could be used to take videos of drama scenes and combine them together, crop, split and add music, narration and effects. |
Instruction Writing The Ebook Creation Activity Pack could be used to add videos and audio instruction to instruction writing. Pupils could also write instructions for the projects they program in Scratch using the Scratch Activity Packs. They could take screenshots and use our Document Editing or Ebook Creation Activity packs to create digital instructions. |
News Reports The iMovie Activity Pack Creation Pack and Green Screen Activity packs by filming the news reports with a green screen and then adding news headline titles with iMovie. |
Settings Pupils can use the activity packs to build settings to inspire descriptive writing. These include the Comic Creation and Scratch Jr activity packs where pupils can choose backgrounds or Kodu, Virtual Reality and Minecraft to create 3D environments. |
Biographies The Augmented Reality Pack includes a video tutorial on how to record 1st person audio and add it to animated portrait face. This is an excellent way to literally bring biographical writing to life. |
