This activity pack teaches pupils how to combine images and text using free websites, preparing children for later digital publishing skills. Includes: 
– Introduction video to help with teacher input, covering keyboard skills and examples of text and images.
– 2 pupil activity packs (One for laptop/desktop and one for iPad) with video tutorials (see example below) across 3 activities. This allows pupils to learn the skills at their pace, at school or home, using simple pupil activity codes.

Progression of skills in this pack

1. Change the background colour of a page.
2. Add, resize and position images (pictures) on a page. 
3. Type and position text on a page, if possible using capital letters and punctuation. 
4. Label pictures with text.
5. Use word-banks for writing sentences about pictures.
