An outline of various online resources that help teach and assess touch typing and understanding of a computer keyboard. Includes:

– Introduction video covering the uses of different computer keyboard keys.
– Worksheet to help assess understanding of keyboard keys.
– 2 teacher video tutorials demonstrating how free websites can be used to introduce touch typing, develop it and assess the skills.
– Pupil activity pack for independent school/home access, with intro video tutorial and access to the other typing websites. Pupil pack includes activity where pupils need to put a keyboard back together, helping understand the locations of different keys.
Plus printable keyboard shortcuts/tips posters for Windows, Google Chromebook and iPad Keyboard.
