Data Handling Pupil Activity Pack accessible at school or home, that includes 3 projects that develop skills introduced in our Year 4 Data Handling Pack:
- Pixel Art using non-adjacent cells.
- Tour De France project teaches map reading and use of formulae (totals, averages and more).
- Detective database searching.
Includes video tutorials for Excel (Windows), Numbers (iPad) and Sheets (Google/Chromebooks) allowing pupils to choose the tutorials for the software they have access to.
Plus lesson outlines, downloadable assessment grid and unplugged assessment activity cards/sheet.
Progression of skills in this pack
- Select and use non-adjacent cells plus resize multiple cell widths and copy/paste cells.
- Use formulae to find totals, averages and maximum/minimum numbers.
- Select the correct chart type to present data.
- Answer ‘what if?…’ questions.
- Search a database to find specific information.
